Namwanje Shakirah a registered counselor and an HIV prevention and research advocate.
Shakirah has overcome multiple traumas as a sexual abuse survivor and after testing positive for HIV.
She brings her passion for music and dance to help educate young minds on the importance of health and safety practices.
She is the 2019 AVAC Fellow from Uganda and the runner Up for the 2021 OMOLOLU FALOBI AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN HIV PREVENTION RESEARCH COMMUNITY ADVOCACY.
