In 2005, just after the inception of Southern Time Productions, the first multimedia stage production of ‘Southern Time’ ( now called the ‘Dreamer’ series) took place at the Wise Hall in Vancouver, B.C. Thenceforth, STB has produced even more powerful songs and messages. STB is under the label of Southern Time Productions, an up-and-coming music and film, social media, and social impact company in Toronto, Canada.
Our aspiration to produce unique and profound musical works will help us succeed not only as an esteemed and global Rock Musical Band but also as Southern Time Productions and the Southern Time Foundation as a film production company, a progressive and inclusive socially conscious community, and a foundation. After many years of positive activity, STB will also teach public health awareness around HIV and AIDS. We strive to help meet UNAIDS’s goals of ending AIDS by 2030. For instance, the Southern Time Band has performed at nearly every International AIDS Conference since 2010. Furthermore, STP and the Band donate a portion of everything they make to the Southern Time Foundation, whose primary goal is to end AIDS by 2030. Once STP acquires funding, soon after, we will begin performing globally (online and eventually in-person). We will hold governments worldwide accountable to UNAIDS’s goal of ending AIDS as our fanbase grows.
OUR WORKS
Most recently, STB performed at the AIDS 2022 in Montreal, AIDS 2020: Virtual Conference, and for the AIDS Committee of York Region’s World AIDS Day celebration 2019. Once STP finds funding, STB will begin in-person and online performances where Justin and T will share their lived experiences and work with HIV and AIDS as the band rocks the stage. The message of STB’s music is how we all can make the world a better place to live and what it will take to create a world where everyone feels free to pursue a life filled with love, liberty, and happiness.
Our first album comprises nine meaningful musical artworks that encapsulate the ‘Dreamer’ series’ emotional arc. Some of ‘Lost in Love No More’s songs are ‘Lost in Love,’ ‘Time,’ ‘Neville,’ ‘Desert Moon,’ ‘Lies,’ and ‘Searching for Love.’
