🎬 Southern Time Band — Rock That Awakens
Back in 2005, shortly after the founding of Southern Time Productions, we staged our first multimedia rock opera at Vancouver’s Wise Hall. It was called Southern Time — a powerful mix of music, visuals, and story that would later evolve into our flagship series: Dreamer.
From that moment, the Southern Time Band (STB) was born — and we’ve been creating meaningful, mission-driven music ever since.
Today, STB is the musical heartbeat of Southern Time Productions, an emerging Toronto-based music, film, social media, and impact company. Through our performances and songs, we’re building more than a band — we’re building a movement.
🌍 What We Stand For
Southern Time Band isn’t just here to entertain. We’re here to educate, advocate, and elevate.
- We use our music to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, stigma, and the path to healing.
- We’ve performed at nearly every International AIDS Conference since 2010.
- We proudly donate a portion of all proceeds to the Southern Time Foundation, whose goal is to help end AIDS by 2030, in line with UNAIDS global targets.
- As funding comes in, we’ll launch worldwide performances — both online and in-person — to amplify our message and inspire change.
We’re not just a band. We’re a voice for justice, love, and collective liberation.
🎤 Our Message
At our core, STB believes in the power of music to unite people across differences and borders. Through personal storytelling and high-impact rock performances, Justin and T — both living with HIV — share raw truths and uplifting visions of what’s possible when we remove shame and embrace love.
Our shows are more than concerts. They’re experiences that ask:
What would the world look like if we truly believed everyone deserves a life of freedom, healing, and joy?
🎶 Our Debut Album
Our first album, Lost in Love No More, tells the emotional arc of the Dreamer series through nine soul-stirring tracks, including:
- Lost in Love
- Time
- Neville
- Desert Moon
- Lies
- Searching for Love
Each song is a chapter in a deeper story — one of pain, redemption, and the power to dream again.
📺 Watch, Listen, Feel
We’ve rocked stages at:
